Azimuth troubleshooting
Pick the symptom, then the page. Facts come from the itch devlogs checked 2026-10-24. Community explanations are labeled. How to report.
Record the wrapper version, game build, exact symptom and LOG before changing anything. Reproduce in a separate clean stock installation where possible, without deleting the existing saves. The developer warns that removing a mod alone can leave broken caches, so a previously modified folder is not a clean baseline.
| Symptom | Open |
|---|---|
| Exception code, instant close | Crashes |
| Hitching after an update, high CPU | Performance |
| Pad connected, game ignores it | Controller |
| Endless load, black screen, red glow, cannot quit | Loading |
| Silence or crackle | Audio |

Before sending a report
For performance reports, the official instructions require a fresh game installation and a fresh save. Keep existing saves backed up separately. Warm caches on Default before comparing performance; Ultra is not a supported performance-report baseline. Every report needs a LOG; crashes also need the DMP. The mailbox collects reports automatically and does not answer installation questions.
The 0.9.7 devlog identifies data/logs/azimuth.log and says a loading screen that lasts 30 seconds records what it is waiting for. Preserve the log from the failing session. Check its contents for personal information before sending it.
Questions
Where do I send a bug?
[email protected]. Attach the LOG. Attach the DMP if it crashed. Mail with no LOG is deleted. The address does not answer how-to questions.
Which version should I be on?
0.9.10, checked 2026-10-24. Several loading and audio bugs were fixed in 0.9.8 through 0.9.10, so an older zip is the first thing to replace.
