Extra Options with Azimuth

Extra Options modifies how the wrapper starts. Almost There Games will not support that. Read the project README and keep a stock itch unzip. PSA.

The project lives at ForzaHorizon2_ExtraOptions. It is not a page inside the Azimuth launcher. On Linux the README asks for WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winmm.dll=n,b".

Install using the Azimuth instructions, not the Mezcal path

1. Start from a working, unmodified Azimuth installation and back up your saves. This guide summarizes the README; it is not a hands-on test.
2. Use the author's GitHub release. If you also use FH2MP, its README requires Extra Options 0.2.98, not simply the newest release.
3. Extract all three files from the release ZIP's Azimuth folder into the main folder containing azimuth.exe. Do not put them in data/bin or use the separate Mezcal subfolder.
4. For Linux/Wine, the Extra Options README gives WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winmm.dll=n,b" %command%. If FH2MP also loads the Mod Platform, use its combined DLL override instead; see the multiplayer page.

Placement and the Linux option above come directly from the Extra Options installation section. The FH2MP supported setups document the 0.2.98 pin and possible replacement of another winmm.dll. Neither is an official Azimuth compatibility guarantee.

• Extra Options is a community mod with in-game menus, not the launcher's built-in Advanced settings.
• The FH2MP version pin applies to its supported setup; it does not prove every Extra Options release works with every Azimuth build.
• The README warns that purported All-In-One tutorials asking you to paste and run PowerShell commands are scams. Do not follow those instructions.
• For a mod problem, use the mod project's support channels. For stock-wrapper performance reports, the developer asks for a fresh game installation and fresh save, not just a removed DLL.
